"Daughter accused of theft because she was a teenager"

I sent my daughter and her friend in today to the Huddersfield store to get me a cushion. Theynwerr followed around and made to feel uncomfortable. They went upstairs to look for what I wanted. They were again followed and watched. They told me the ladies were talking about them quite indescretley. They actually purchased the cushion and my daughter was searched because she put a bottle of water (which I'm pretty sure isn't sold in the shop) in her bag. To steal a cushion or throw or a pair of curtains her bag must of been pretty big which it wasn't. It's a shame that the ladies that work here feel the need to pursue teenagers just because they are teenagers. Will not purchase any more from this store or company and I firmly believe that the assistants in the shop shouldn't just believe that every teenager in there is stealing. My daughter and her friend were shocked and upset when they got home. Perhaps some customer service advice and extra training for the staff might help them deal with a range of customers. They aren't all going to be middle aged women that shop in the store. No more teenagers from my family though..
